Subtitles always disappear after a few hours

I’ve been having this strange problem for many years now when I watch literally anything on my Google Chrome TV streaming device, or by using the built in SONY Android interface (this happens on both).

I always watch with subtitles turned on and at first everything looks normal, but if I turn the TV off and walk away for a few hours (or more) when I return the subtitles will just NOT show. Or sometimes they’ll be VERY small, almost impossible to see.

The only way to get the subtitles back is to force the PLEX app to stop and restart it.
Honestly this would easily be solved if the PLEX app just restarted itself every night at 4am or something. I attached the logs, plus an XML file for one of the episodes that this just happened on a few minutes ago
