Subtitles are not working on Android Tablet and Phone (working on PC browser and TV)

Server Version#: 4.145.1 (QNAP NAS-TS-254)
Player Version#: 2025.15.0 (Tablet Samsung Tab S6 Lite and Pixel 7 Pro)

Since the software update last week or so on my android devices, the embedded subtitles are not showing on my content. The same content on my PC via Browser or on my TV is working fine.

Exact same issue here, same server and player version, but on samsung s22+.

100 % , the new app has taken away the ability to add sub’s on the fly , also has removed advance button to move on to the next tv show , you are also unable to adjust the out quality as the new app makes my Chromecast buffer like crazy , loaded an APK file to “downgrade/upgrade” it to a previous version before the update. @plextv fix this !!

The only option I found to fix this issue was to Downgrade the version on my tablet and phone.
