I recently moved my Plex server from one Windows 10 PC laptop to a different Windows 11 PC laptop, and all my video files are on an external hard drive. I used the exact same external hard drive on my old PC as this one, and the video files are working just as they did; however, when I try to run any subtitles that are located in a .srt file with the video file, it almost immediately causes the Playback Error: “Conversion failed. The transcoder failed to start up.” The exact same subtitles worked on the old PC. If I use the search subtitles function on Plex to locate subtitles on Plex’s server, that does work fine, so I don’t understand why the local files aren’t working. I have tried adding a new location to Temporary Transcoder just to see if that would do something. I have uploaded the server logs
