Subtitles are consistently about 6 seconds delayed. The ones that are delayed have a very basic looking, almost typewriter font.
However, I have found that if while watching the show I go choose a different srt file, the problem seems to go away. These also have a newer looking font, so I know they are somehow different.
I suspect that maybe the delayed subtitles are coming from the server while the ones selected on the client are actually being processed directly by the client, but I don’t know this to be sure.
I do have subtitles enabled on the server side because I have an elderly and slightly hearing impaired technically inept person who regularly watches from our Plex server. However, with the delay of about 6 seconds, they are pretty useless.
Really would like to figure out what’s going on here and how to fix it. Ideally, I’d like the non-delayed subtitles enabled for all shows by default.
