Nope just as bad. Also stuttering is still there.

I found this site where some of the old versions are, so if you want the old 1.8.4 version back, then you can get it here.

Plex doesnt delete the old versions it updated before on your system. You can find them (in windows) in your user folder / appdata / local / plex media server / updates

Sadly PC only. Couldn’t find a mac version
OK if you are a Mac user the old versions are harder to find. In Finder you need to hold the option key, Click on Go at the top and choose the hidden library folder. Then choose Application Support. Then Plex Media Server Folder. Then the version you want then open packages folder and the zip file of the version you want is in there. Bloody hard to find but finally got it. OK that didn’t work. zip file did not have a dmg in it. Will keep digging.
Very latest update yesterday which claims to fix the subtitles disappearing issue doesn’t work. Subs still failing after a few minutes. Still would love someone who is able to give me a link to the 1.8.4 Mac version. Would be very grateful

Version 1.10.1.4602-f54242b6b
it seems to be only on some shows. If subs are embedded it stops after a few minutes. External subs are random if they work or don’t. Also some external subs cause the videos to pause and cache repeatedly. Also dragging the slider to advance the video makes it unplayable in all cases now. Definately 1.8.4 never had any of these issues.Today I tried my old Blue-Ray Hard Drive Recorder. It’s a Samsung that’s smart so tried with the Plex app with all the shows that played up and it works just fine. No issues so far. So seems it’s an issue with iOS devices via Chromecast. It’s a Chromecast 2 and the iPhone is on 11.2 and the iPad on 10.3.4. So either it’s an issue with iOS or Chromecast since the Samsung Smarthub doesn’t need Chromecast to work. All videos are on my Mac and stream via wireless ac 2300 dual band MIMO so normally have no issues.
Totally frustrating… Subtitles play a few minutes and then just dissapear… And with some movies there are NO subtitles at all! I regret I’ve paid for the PlexPass. Switching to old good VLC, which always played and plays and will be playing just right.

I wonder what’s your version of PMS? and what’s your player? (like webOS/PMH/PMP/SAMUSNG APP…)
I now have this beta version: 1.11.0.4633 Ubuntu, as my very-latest-everything didn’t play correctly. This beta is even worse: it stops playing altogether after ~5 minutes. I switched to VLC. I’m playing from the Chrome, as always. It always worked. But now I’ve reinstalled with the newest PMS version.
