After upgrading from 1.25.7.5604 to 1.25.9.5721 (Ubuntu MATE 20.04), some of my external subtitle tracks seem to have disappeared. This causes a `Playback Error: Conversion failed" when transcoding or subtitle rendering is needed:

When trying to play a TV Show / Movie using external subtitles (e.g. downloaded by the Plex OpenSubtitles.org agent, not those subtitles embedded in the video container), I’m getting the following in the PMS Console:
Couldn't find the file to stream: <my local plex home>/.plex/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Media/localhost/d/c60add7b74c22c3fe54541260365c72f5cd6245.bundle/Contents/Subtitles/en/com.plexapp.agents.opensubtitles_3eeab5c6c170274c246f731444fee4996d48d816.srt
Indeed if I try to list that location (from a bash terminal), that file does not exist, whereas it did exist previously. This happens with various movies/shows in my library, the ones I discovered manually through playing in Plex are all verified to have their SRT files missing. In Plex however, the subtitles stil show up under “SUBTITLES”:

If I disable subtitles, things work fine. I’ve done a complete Refresh Metadata on my library, which seems to have removed subtitles from the DB that didn’t have their corresponding files anymore, but this didn’t seem to have re-downloaded these subtitles.
- Is there a bug in the upgrade to 1.25.9.5721 that could cause subtitle tracks to be deleted by accident?
- Is there a way to make Plex automatically update it’s library to remove missing subtitle files, and re-download them?
