With the latest version of plex in the beta channel (Version 1.22.0.4145) I am experiencing 2 unusual subtitle issues.
Prior to this version I could go into Plex web and search for, find and download a subtitle for a movie and all my users would have access to that subtitle. Since the latest version (it might have been earlier, I have not tried in a month or so) other users cannot see the downloaded subtitle. I have confirmed with multiple movies and multiple player platforms (web, iphone, samsung). The subs work fine for me and show up across different devices for my account, but no one elses.
Also, if I turn off that sub in the web player it appears to delete the sub instead of just disabling it. here are some screens.
1 - no subs, click search
2 - type my search and click on the one I want
3 - It downloads and works fine for me but no one else sees that option.
4 - I click off to no longer display the sub
5 - sub is now apparently gone instead of just disabled
