Subtitles displayed 10 sec too early

Running up to date Plex Media Player on a Mac with Mojave.
Since a week or so all subtitles ( both local and OpenSubtitles)
are displayed way too early.

I checked the srt files and the start/stop-times in them are right.
If i play the movie/show in the web app the subtitles are in sync.

Any Idea what this could be and what to do about it?

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

During playback, press Alt+S until the number in the upper, right corner of the screen has reached 0 ms.
Opposite direction is Alt+Shift+S

Thank you for your reply. I did know that we can adjust the subs in that way.

The problem is that when starting playback on Plex Media Player, it already is on 0 ms ofcourse.
And that i have to adjust the subs in that way to make them display at the right times.

However the start/stop-times in the srt-files are correct, when playing the same media
on the web app with the same subs they do display at the right times.

So why is there suddenly a difference between these two (Plex Media Player and webapp), playing on the same mac? It should be the same, right?

I remember we used to be able to adjust the subs in the preferences for all media,
but i can’t seem to find that option anymore.

And also, while it is okay to adj the subs with opt-s or opt-shift-s,
i should not have to do that every time :disappointed:.
It used to be fine.

Did you recently change some of PMPs preferences?
Try resetting all of them to defaults:

Upon restarting of PMP, you’ll have to re-connect it to your plex account.
