Subtitles do not play on appleTV

Running latest versions on server and appleTV.
Subtitles do not play on recorded content from PlexDVR when played on appleTV but they do play when using a browser player on my MAC. Not sure why they play in the web player but not on AppleTV player.

I have made sure that subtitles are fully engaged on appleTV settings as well as in server settings.

When launching the program, and then clicking more, it shows subtitles engaged for the content in the plex app on appleTV but it seems to default to (unknown closed caption) is checked. When I select more it gives me a language choice and what looks like a file name but I didn’t install that file. It has a bunch of content then the file ext is .ts
