Subtitles no longer downloading for movies

As of last week any movie that I import no longer pulls down the subtitles with the metadata. TV Show still work tho but pulling down foreign languages and can not pull down English version using “More”.

Here are the changes that I’ve noticed:

  1. No subtitles for movies are downloaded with metadata.
  2. No longer able to use the “More” option on app. Says "Uh-oh! There was an error.
  3. Subtitle timing +- option is no longer available. (Needed seconds to be added, not just ms anyway).
  4. " Search" options for subtitles on server side says, "unable to load subtitles.

All devices have the latest updates. Using Android TV on MiBox s well as Galaxy 7 and Samsung tablet. Same is on windows 10 PC. I have not made any changes to my configuration. I am a lifetime Plex user.

I am also having same problem since last week. The opensubtitles plugin no longer work.

In my case download is done automatic but I need the synchronization control

I have always had subtitles downloaded for many years. After the most recent update, there are no auto loaded subtitles. Something is BROKE! Would be nice to hear a solution, until then, gotta do it manually I suppose. Aloha!

No subtitles here.Just tried to set this up today, using OpenSubtitles.org. Not only do no subtitles show up, but the “More” button the instructions talk about don’t show up.

I have:
Refreshed Metadata
Rescanned my library
Set up OpenSubtitles both with and without my login
Rebooted the computer with the Plex server.

I have changed the settings through the web interface as well as the local instance of Plex on my server. The ONLY subtitles that are showing up are for the movies that have a subtitle file included. I would love to have this working. In case it matters, I also don’t see an offset control to adjust timing of the subtitles if they are out of sync.

Same to me.
I have checked the “Audio & subtitle settings” in “Account", as well as all the options in “Agents” at “Settings”, but subtitles do not automatically download anymore. I am running Version 1.19.1.2645.
Refreshing metadata does not work.

This is 100% a plex pass issue. I just upgraded my account and suddenly the “more” button is back and I can search for subtitles.

I wish it were that easy. I’ve been a Plex Pass member for years and have had an Opensubtitles account for almost as long. I did not change a thing but for some reason Plex is not pulling down correct subtitles (like in the past) or showing additional subtitles in the “More” or “Search” options.

Weird. I have also had an opensubtitle account for a very long time and just about the start of this thread I suddenly noticed my “more” button went missing (on all interfaces). I am of course updated to the newest version and I have multiple other servers shared with me and they all had the “more” button. Of the servers shared with me, those users are PlexPass users so right away I was suspect. I rebooted a bunch of times. Updated SubZero which is what I thought was causing the problem. I uninstalled SubZero and then rebooted a bunch of times. Nothing. Along the way I found this thread and while poking around I figured I would just see what happens if I upgraded to PlexPass. Sure enough. (I mean literally - As soon as I upgraded the option was back on all my devices) - I didn’t even have to reboot the server.

That’s my experience. Maybe try logging out and back in to your Plex account on your server? IDK.
