I’m having an issue where even after manually refreshing the metadata for a movie, it will still tell me “subtitles - none” and even though there are certainly subtitles available on opensubtitles.org for that movie. I know that it’s not a rate limiting problem or an issue with my credentials, because I have it configured for TV shows, and those are working no problem.
Manually refreshing a TV show will successfully pull down the subtitles, however doing the exact same thing for a movie does not. What gives? Another thing to note is that this was working in one of the previous versions of plex, because it has downloaded movie subtitles correctly before, it just doesn’t now. I triple checked the Agent settings for both movie and TV show and they are configured properly.
Looking through the logs “com.plexapp.agents.opensubtitles.log” it seems like plex isn’t even making a request to opensubtitles after manually refreshing the metadata of a movie, there’s no logs created even after refreshing multiple movies.
