Subtitles not playing automatically

Hello, I have configured languages as in the picture:

And the subtitles do not play automatically

I found something in the logs that might be relevant:

Which makes no sense… because the only language found is English…

If you select different languages for audio and subtitles, “shown with foreign audio” doesn’t work.

What could I do if I want to prioritize Spanish audio without subs but, in case there is no Spanish audio and there is English audio, put English audio with English subs?

You cannot prefer two different audio languages.
If you select Spanish, you will get Spanish audio.
If the video has no Spanish audio, Plex will simply use the first audio track in the file – whichever language it is.

I understand this, and in the case that the audio is not in Spanish, I want English subs to be played automatically (99% of the movies I do not have in Spanish are in English).
I can not do this with the configuration showed in the images?

No, unfortunately you can only have Spanish subs played automatically.
The whole auto-selection only works as expected when the preferred languages for audio and subtitles are identical.

One last question about this. If selecting different languages for audio and subtitles doesn’t work, what is the sense in having an option to select the subs language?
