Hi, i had to reinstall my plex server a few weeks ago due to a database corruption. since i added all my files again, now when I play a file it automatically has english subtitles at the bottom?
the only way i can stop it is to disable subtitles after i have started playing the file? i cannot find a setting to disable this before the file is played?
can anyone tell me how i stop this so i dont have to disable this after ive started playing?
Not sure which app you are using but in the web app on the detail page of any movie where it lists the language of the subtitle that is a drop down to choose which you want
In general if your primary language is english in your account settings I would set AUDIO & SUBTITLE SETTINGS to
Preferred Audio = English
Preferred Subtitle = English
Auto-select subtitle mode = Shown with foreign Audio
