Is it possible to do a subtitle offset in the Plex Client in Nvidia Shield i cannot find the settings?
The Android tv client should already support this for external text-based subtitles

Very weird i have 2 Shields an old one which i can now see the option.
But the newer one the Pro does not give me this option is there some kind of settings to enable this?
I have looked but cannot see it ?
I am checking with same movie with same srt file !
As long as both have a halfway recent version of the Plex app installed it should work. Do you get those different results for the same video with an external srt subtitle?
Any transcoding involved on the client that’s not showing the option?

I have it set to
- Adjust Auto = Off
- Home Streaming = Max
- Quality Suggestions= OFF
- Remote Streaming = Max
- Play Smaller = On
On both units both fully up to-date !!

Still need to know why my Plex Client in Nvidia Shield Pro does not show the offset option when its on same version with same settings ?
Both are set to original quality because both are hardwired and i check when i play on both units with same movie !

You should see that during playback on the detailed playback info of the Android client or when using the server’s dashboard.
What information is showing in the “now playing” tile for that playback on the Plex server dashboard?

Finally fixed it i had to remove it from Shield and reinstall then it showed up.
Very weird but change for help
