So, I’m having a weird issue with my plex server. I have subtitles enabled for both Movies and TV shows. With the movies, in both the web interface and the PS4 client, I am able to select Both options of subtitles that I have selected, as well as the option to select None.
With my TV shows, I have no ability to select None for subtitles. I have English force selected by default. I can select the alternate language, but it automatically jumps back to English, and there is no option anywhere for None.
I’ve checked the language settings, there is no checkbox by Automatically select audio and subtitle tracks.
I prefer audio tracks in english, and I prefer subtitle tracks in “None”
In the Agents tab, I have an account with Opensubtitles.org. In the preferences of that, I have my preferred subtitles listed as, 1. None, 2. English, 3. Alternate test language.
Each time I make a change, I restart the server, I “refresh” the particular episode that I’m testing, and I’ve even gone to updating my library every time.
If anyone has any advice, i’d greatly appreciate it.
