Subtitles with wrong encoding

Server Version#: 1.41.9.9917
Player Version#: 2025.20.0

Plex Server on Windows 11 Pro.
Android app is not correctly displaying cyrilic subtitles encoded with Windows-1251.
They are external ones (.srt).

Use UTF-8 encoding.

Tip!: You’ll want to make sure a text subtitle file is saved using the UTF-8 character encoding. Other encodings may work, but could also result in strange, unexpected character displays.

Please, don’t tell me what to do because this was perfectly working application!
I will answer you like I did in a similar thread:

Manually converting thousands of external subtitles for a not techy person is backpain at the very least.
Plex is breaking a working functionality for years and blame users for their “WRONG” encoding. How pitty is that…

Just fix your sh*t, Plex.

I already dumped the Plex app for Samsung TV and use RBPi with Kodi. What should I do to be able to play my media on my Android devices with somethin that simle like correctly recognized encodings which MANY softwares do!?

So, obviously you moderators are trying to spread the rumor that we the users need to handle this crap!?

And this thread is not for you to tell me what to do but for Plex Employees and devs who are actually ruining their software.
