Odd that it’s working this way, I have 2 PC’s, the Alienware would have no problems displaying subtitles, in any layout, however, in my NUC7i7, subtitles only display when not in TV layout.
That version is almost a year old, just checked on 1.15.1.791 and it does work with the Windows PMP version you have.
You mean my PMS Version? i updated to 1.14.1.5488, no difference.
Since you have one that works and one that doesn’t, switch to tv mode and compare the settings between the two machines. It will either be a video or subtitle setting.
there are 3 settings for subtitles in tv mode:
Placement
Colour
Size

Allow Direct Play
Allow Direct Stream
Local Quality
Try toggling
No difference.
