I’ve activated the OpenSubtitles.org to download the captioning automatically on both English and Portuguese (Brazil).
It is working properly, however, the files of the Portuguese (Brazil) srt’s are only showing as “Unknown - SRT External”
Also I don’t know where those files are being downloaded to (which directory).
I have a dedicated Win10 computer as Plex Server.
If anyone could give me some direction I’d appreciate. Thank you.
The issue with Portuguese-Brazilian is known with that agent. As far as I know that agent is pretty old has a bunch of problems and will be revamped completely at a later date. I don’t have an ETA.
You can try using the OnDemand subtitle search (i know not automatic) which should show Portuguese-Brazilian correctly. https://support.plex.tv/articles/subtitle-search/
Subtitles gotten from agents are stored in a metadata bundle with other data like posters such. they are in folders named with long GUID numbers and not really searchable. On demand subtitles are stored inside the database .
