Since new agent appeared, PMS using that agent can’t identify subtitles named pt-BR.srt.
Now my subtitles are all showing unknown (SRT External).
The main reason it’s that Bazarr aplication downloads with that extension rather then pt.srt.
The old Agent(Legacy) can identify it without problem. So I’m kindly asking to add that to the new agent so we, brazilians, could use the new agent without issues.
Hello Plex team,
I have the same problem.
I would like to mention that in my case, I don’t have the .srt files, I’m using the plex app to download it on the fly.
I can download and use the subtitle, however the accents in words are showing incorrectly, it shows some codes where the accents in words should appear.
My library is already set to Portugues-BR
Same issue here. After creating a fresh new library with the new plex movie agent all PT-BR subtitles as being detected as unknown. I still have my old library which is a mirror but using the legacy agent and the subtitles are detected accordingly.
I think BigWheel is already adressing the problem.
It was problaby some unintended bug and will be solved as soon as possibly.
But I have to agree with you, us brazillians, lack of a good support among most content providers.
Let’s hope that Plex does different and provide a better experience for us.
I have the same problem too. It is not restricted to use bazarr, I use subzero to download subtitles and they too use “.pt-br.srt” to name Brazilian Portuguese subtitles. I hope this is solve soon as it worked fine before plus this new agent is way better for libraries using Brazilian Portuguese.
Great work too guys!
I have the same problem, but with all languages. All external subs i get unknown (SRT External).
I’m a brazillian too . i was trying to solve and i discovered.
The latest beta should have solved the issue of them being shown as “Unknown” although there is still more work to do to differentiate Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese and both will just show as Portuguese now (like it does using the old agent).
The latest BETA version solved the problem. But you need to refresh the metadata for each library.
Near the library name there are 3 dots that you can click. A popup will show up and you can choose MANAGE LIBRARY>> REFRESH ALL METADATA for that library.
