Has anyone gotten them to work with .srt files on the 360 app?
I have over 1300 movies setup so they work with Xbmc(Kodi)
Moviename(2014).mp4
Moviename(2014).srt
in the same folder.
Will this not work with Plex? is there a naming convention that the xbox 360 app will utilize ?
Normally if you want them to be automatically selected you have to have a language code so Plex knows what language they are.
ie:
Frozen (2014).mp4
Frozen (2014.eng.srt
Otherwise they show up as an unknown language and won't be automatically selected. I haven't tried on my 360 as I unplugged it awhile back, but that is what I have done for the other apps for subtitle selection.
jmckee is right, but remember to read the FAQ page about subtitles to xbox 360.
