Sudden error: "server not powerful enough to convert"

PMS on Win 10 64-bit. Using Fire Stick 4K on TLC Roku TV.
Today is Wednesday. Server was “powerful enough” on Monday.
Files on NAS or local harddrive play fine on PC within PMS (Plex Web?), but generate the error when I attempt to play on TV.
What is going on? What info can I provide to help solve this?

I would enable logging to server in the app on TV then reproduce error then grab server logs. Then we should be able to see why the tv requested a transcode in the first place and why the server could not.

Is it transcoding when playing to the web app in browser? Do you have video transcoding disabled in the server’s transcoder settings?

Problem solved.
Weirdly, everything played using the Roku remote.
Uninstalled the app using Fire remote, reinstalled but did not enter the 4 digit code thing. Went to apps, chose Plex, cleared cache AND data, entered code.
Played a file from NAS just fine.
Will be back if it blows up on me again…
