Plex has been running fine for some time (years). Suddenly today I cant watch trailers, many videos are not playing and if I log onto app.plex.tv my server is not accessible.
I’ve got Plex Pass. Plex is running version 1.31.3.6868
My Router is OPNsense. This has been working fine since install a few months ago, no issues. I did update to the new version a few days ago (to v23.7.6-amd64), but did not change any settings.
Any idea how to trouble-shoot these issues please?
Hey… I didn’t see your post a few minutes ago… I think we typed at the same time although I took a while before sending mine. I couldn’t play trailers and extras the whole day and just a minute after sending (I had tried just before sending too without luck) my post, trailers started to work again.
Had a very similar issue with our server last night. Also happened to a large number of other server owners in a user group I belong to.
The server itself was running fine and remote access was showing as working but no remote access was possible.
I wonder if it was related to the IP ban Plex implemented for Hetzner cloud users in the past 24 hours (we do not use Hetzner, nor do the user group).
Everything seems to be back to normal today.
Have never encountered this issue before in the 10 years I have used Plex.
No recent changes my end to software/hardware.
