Sudden major transcoder errors on Ubuntu - can't play anything back

Suddenly - and seemingly without any action on my part - I’m getting continual errors and can’t play anything back. Could play back fine an hour ago.

Errors all centred around the transcoder. Tried with HW transcoding on and off. Tried resetting. No idea where this can have come from.

Have attached my logs - if anyone has any ideas - extremely gratefully received.

2 common issues with docker containers:

  1. does the /config path of your container point to a drive that’s mounted with exec permissions?
  2. do you have the latest nvidia drivers installed? sometimes this requires to uninstall existing drivers and manually install the latest one

It’s all video files - tried a lot. How would I repair the codecs?

    • yes, that’s unchanged
  2. No - it’s using Quicksync for transcoding

I deleted all of the codecs. Restarted the server. One file played briefly, now the same error.

I next recommend verifying:

  1. Turn off hardware transcoding to verify software works
  2. Play the file with other players to confirm the system itself is ok.

Files work in VLC and other players

That error shows it can see the file but not access it properly.

Permissions unexpectedly change for user plex ?

Okay - it’s fixed now. I hit a quota on Google drive. Quota has reset now. Thanks for help on troubleshooting
