Suddenly buffering high bitrate movies

suddenly having buffering issues on anything hdr which is all i really use plex for.

i stream to an apple tv 4k using infuse, always had issues using the plex app but never had issues since using infuse, i have 1gb internet connected over wifi (only option) i know people will say i need a wired connection but its worked flawlessly without for months.
its driving me mad

Check to see if your HD is failing. If you are getting a lot of read errors it will slow down the rate at which it can send the data.

thanks for the suggestion but my library is stored across multiple ssd’s and this happens regardless of where the media is
