One thing that I miss from Spotify after migrating to Plex is it’s weekly recommendation playlist.
It was a small-ish playlist that was auto generated once every week, containing some tracks that were similar to what you usually listen to. You didn’t have to check out the list if you didn’t want to, and every week it was overwritten with a new selection of tracks.
This was great because the small size of it made you appreciate the tracks more. You could put it on repeat and some tracks would “stick” so to speak. It felt very personal, and also very easy and carefree. And it gave a fresh and exciting feeling every time you noticed you had a new one.
Now we have all sorts of radios on PlexAmp but it doesn’t feel as personal or convenient as that list. I think PlexAmp is missing something like this.
And now, when you guys are experimenting with special auto generated playlists (fresh love, love tracks etc) maybe this aspect could be taken into consideration. Maybe when you choose which playlists to be created at sign in on PlexAmp there could be things to pick like “weekly recommendations”?
