  1. A clear list of selectable display options for the home screen. Continue Watching for Movies and TV seems to be automatic, but Music doesn’t do the same and doesn’t have an option. I might even like recently added if I can customize how it determines what to display rather than being random.
  2. A home screen that isn’t broken. My Roku home screens seem to work, but my web interface is either empty or displays an error when there is a movie in progress.
  3. The option to remove reviews. We don’t need reviews for movies we hand picked. We already know we like them. At the very least have a button on the individual movie screens that opens a separate screen with the reviews, on the off chance a guest wants to read them before watching. Or, make the rating the button to see full reviews.
  4. The ability to include extras with TV shows, not just movies.
  5. The ability to edit extras just like we can for movie and show displays, rather than rely on the file name.

Plex is a really handy service, but there are some truly baffling features, or lack thereof.

Please mind the rules for the feature suggestion section – if you mix up multiple suggestions in a single thread, users won’t be able to vote for them (making it harder to get attention / find supporters).

As for your specific list:

  1. I’m not exactly sure what you’re aiming for – feels like the 1st part of that point doesn’t add so much to the end of it. You can already configure which hubs to be included on the app home sections and the library recommended tabs

  2. That’s not so much a feature suggestion but a bug report?! Please keep those separate

  3. Duplicate suggestion → Disable reviews

  4. Implemented → available with the Plex TV Series agent/scanner, though not all clients are yet able to display local extras for all tiers (in particular season and episode extras are not supported everywhere). Plex have mentioned they’re working to add the ability to display extras on more/all tiers to the other apps.

  5. Duplicate suggestion → Local Trailers and Extras - Edit image, title, etc.

I’m not sure how to say it any more clearly. Many of us want a clear list of options to either check or uncheck to have those items displayed on the home screen. Not an all-or-nothing option.
While I don’t personally need it, there is no way to turn off continue watching for movies and tv without removing everything for those who prefer not to see that. I also can’t pause music and have it appear on the home screen as continue listening.

If only Plex put as much effort into the apps as they do the forum posts being perfectly structured.
