There is currently support for H-SBS and H-OU. Will there be (or is there) support for ANAGLYPH format. I realize that 3D is not a huge thing anymore, but movie files with multiple embedded 3D formats do not have playback options in PLEX. ANAGLYPH is dated, but the glasses are inexpensive and can be played on any device. - Thanks.
There is not.
The only support for 3D video ever was in a 3rd-party Plex client for Samsung TV devices.
Which by now is unsupported for several years.
The Plex server and official Plex clients never had any support for 3D. And it doesn’t look like that will change any time soon.
If it’s just a question of file naming, not playback, then perhaps using the Editions system might be a good approach. Obviously it’s maybe a second class solution, but based on the (obviously unhelpful) reply you just got I think it might be your best option.
