Support For Centon DVR Tuners

I’m in desperate need of help with my technical problem, does any one know or have any info. to help me use my Centon InfiniTV 6 PCIe or Centon InfiniTV 6 PCIe as a DVR for Plex (&/or any third party) on Windows 10 Pro 64-bit?

Centon’s PC DVR products were originally only designed to work with Windows Media Center, with was fine until Microsoft stopped offering that program in Windows 10 & later OS’s, & Centon’s website only offers support/downloads to setup their hardware TV tuners for Windows 7 (SP1 or later) & Windows 8 Pro 64-bit.

Unfortunately, none of the PC DVR Tuners from Centon are listed under Plex’s Officially Supported DVR Tuners, & it’s Officially Supported DVR Tuners lists don’t even include a category or section with PC DVR Digital Cable Tuners, let alone anything from Centon (at least nothing that I could find).

Unfortunately, my Centon tuners show up with “!” in Windows 10’s Device Manager in the Control Panel, under Other Devices.

Also, I’ve attempted to setup the DVR function for it, using Plex Media Server, but it cannot find/discover it when it scanned for TV Tuners in my PC.

I know Centon isn’t exactly as well known or popular compared to brands like AVerMedia or Hauppauge, but I can’t possibly be the only person on the planet to encounter this issue. So, if anyone could help me in any possible way, it would be most appreciated.

Thank you.

This app may work for you:

It basically makes the Ceton appear as a HDHomeRun device which should show up in Plex.
