I am using the latest version of the windows app, with my media server running on a QNAP 453 Pro and I am using the windows app only as a player.
When I go to open the player it appears to load but no window opens up to allow me to play anything.
I have tried to uninstall and re-install the app but this has not solved the problem.
Any suggestions on how to solve this problem?

I have just installed the new version and I am experiencing the same problem. The app apears to be opening but no window opens at all.
I’m not using a Surface Pro 6, but I’m running into the same issue on one of my computers. Another works just fine.
Could you be more specific than just “computers“ please?

One that does work:
i5 4690k
16gb of RAM
RX 480 with 8gb of VRAM
They are both running the latest stable version of Windows 10 Pro (Version 1903, OS Build 18362.476)
I have tried the following. I disconnected the plex player from the server and the logged back in again. this seems to have worked so far
