Hello,
I had two plex server and one of them with plex pass one without.

Now i just use one server and want to put my plex pass user as admin to the running plex server.

Is this possible?
Or do I need to reinstall the pms ?

You can switch the account any time you like.

I’m writing this presuming you’re local (same subnet) to the server.
If it’s remote then you’ll need to ssh tunnel and use the loopback address to claim it again. Otherwise:

  1. Settings - Server - General
  2. You’ll see the “SIGN OUT”
  3. Sign it out
  4. Sign out of Plex/web (upper right)
  5. Sign in to the account you wish to use
  6. CLAIM the server
  7. Once claimed, Restart the server so it downloads the features of the new account.
