Been using Plex for years with cable (FiOS) with no problems. Cancelled cable subscription and put up antenna. Plex scan finds lots of channels but gets can’t tune message when trying to play or record a show. Rescan channels again and I noticed that the scanner is reporting 843 channels before it starts - what we had before on cable. Deleted DVR again, re-add and re-scan and still seeing old channel info. Scanner does find new OTA channels and guide but just can’t tune. Fixed by uninstalling plexmediaserver with apt and removing the Plex directories in /var and reinstalling Plex. Everything now works great. So deleting DVR using the web interface is not deleting everything about the tuner that it needs to properly clean up old settings – this is a bug that shouldn’t need such an aggressive workaround.
