WinTV-quadHd - Windows 10 - plex 1.13.1.5063
Win TV 8.5 works great 103 clear qam channels
Plex scan returns 68 protected and like 4 channels that wont tune when mapped.
Shows 2 dual tuners when searching for tuners.
Any troubleshooting or ability to add channels manually?

Windows: “WinTV 8” (for WinTV tuners) or “AVerMedia TVBox” (for AVerMedia tuners) software might conflict with Plex Media Server’s use of the tuner. If you have issues tuning channels, please remove this software, install only the driver for your tuner, then attempt to scan channels again.
Spoke too soon. When scanning it says 433 channels found. when it gets to 100% it says 67 channels found and none work.
well, i can add the channels manually but the tuner still wont tune. You can get the frequency from the clearcam transponder ini and figure out the other params by looking at the Plex tuner log. add the channels to the database. the only error I see looks like a socket error writing to the http client.

I give up, deos anyone have a recently purchased quadhd that actually works in plex?
finally got it. tones of duplicate channel identifiers with cable scan. I had to manually change them all. Its easier if you scan with wintv then view the channel database to find all the valid channels. Also Tested OTA scan and that worked correctly.

no problem. you may have to fix the drm’s if the channels are incorrectly labeled as protected.
