Can't tune one channel because frequency has changed

Server Version#: 1.22.3.4523
Player Version#: 1.31.1.2262-74fdc6b7
Tuner Make/Model: HDHomeRun HDHR-US and HDHDR3-US
Guide/Lineup name: ?
Using XMLTV?: No
Channel number/Name: 2.1 CBUT

I live in Vancouver, BC and all the other channels work, except for CBUT (CBC Vancouver). When I try to record or watch live TV, Plex says

When I look in the logs, I see this line:

May 31, 2021 03:38:10.093 [0x7f5790a5e700] WARN - [E] http_streamer_t::handle_read: read_error: End of file (2)
May 31, 2021 03:38:10.093 [0x7f5788ff9700] WARN - [E] http_streamer_t: http write error

I am pretty sure the problem is here:

May 31, 2021 03:37:46.056 [0x7f5743fff700] INFO - [I] CTVSStreamSource::TuneTransponder. Transponder tuning request: diseqc 0, freq 43, modulation 0, polarization 0, symbol rate 0, LOF 0, LNB selection sign
al 0, FEC 0

Note the freq 43. Initially, CBUT-DT was on 43, but on May 1, 2020, it was switched to 35.

Source of information confirming channel allocations: CBUT-DT - Wikipedia

I only started using the DVR function of Plex recently. Prior to this, I was using MythTV and have been able to tune all channels including CBUT correctly from within MythtTV.

How can I correct the issue so that Plex will tune to UHF channel 35 instead of 43?

When an OTA channel changes frequency you will need to rescan channels in Plex. To do this, in Plex Web go to Settings, and then on the left under “Manage” click on “Live TV & DVR”. In the screen that comes up, under “Tuner Devices” click on the link that shows the number of channels you have enabled (e.g. “41 enabled”), and then click on the “Rescan” link.

In my neck of the woods, this occurs every year.

Rescan Channels resolves the problem as hokierulz suggested

Thanks for the replies, everyone.

I had already tried rescanning the channels, but it didn’t work. I suspect this is for one of three reasons:

(a) I used the Windows desktop app
(b) I have two physical HDHomeRun devices and didn’t clear them both at the same time.
(c) That same channel is missing from the channel lineup on Zap2it’s website, but when I specify a slightly different zipcode in an adjoining municipality (<10km away), it is present. I don’t know if Plex EPG and Zap2it are related in anyway.

To fix it, I used the Plex web interface in Chrome (where I noticed the add-new-DVR UI is significantly different in a couple of places), I deleted all devices, added them, and then rescanned. Now it is working correctly.

Thanks for the asssistance.
