Switching from Windows to Manjaro, installation questions

So I have been using Plex on Windows for over a year, I decided to switch to Linux and ended up settling on Manjaro. I spent most of day off trying to setup using multiple drives. Followed Chucks guide to have drives shown in the root directory. I am at my wit’s end as I have wasted my day off trying to get everything working to no avail. I am going to reinstall Manjaro, what directory should I use my larger storage drives for? /usr?

I have an Opane 900p which was going be my /boot/efi and /root partitions. I also have a fake raid for 3x 970 Evo in raid 0 which will be my /home partition. I was hoping to utilize 3x 10tb pooled in lvm or something. Any suggestions would be great, I don’t want to go back to Windows but the huge difference has been quite frustrating. Thanks in advance.

Don’t use Manjaro. It’s not supported.

Use Ubuntu or Debian.

Let the OS make partitions for root, swap, and home (and as needed for efi)

Any distribution based on Debian and Ubuntu should be fine then, like Zorin or Pop OS? Sorry, it’s going to be pulling double duty with some gaming on the side.

No. Ubuntu or Debian.

Make it dual boot if you want double duty.

I say this because I see this all day long. I am primary support for Linux.

Manjaro, Mint, and those knock-offs are problems. There’s a reason they’re different and those reasons will bite you.

Thanks, I appreciate this.

Any time. That’s why I’m here.

Imho, doing it right the first time, even if it takes bit longer, is easier and better than doing it twice.
