Hi, I can see why some want Plex to scan their library and sort everything for them. I’m not in that camp, I just want to see a list view of folders so I can select what I want to watch from my carefully named collection of media. How do I do that, it seems unnecessarily opaque, but perhaps I’m being thick…
And most importantly: create a library of the type ‘Other Videos’, instead of ‘Movies’.

Yes, it is crucial. Because in a ‘Movie’ library, everything that cannot be identified as a movie will be ignored.
