Symlink TV Episode as Movie Short

I want to Symlink individual Episodes of a TV series (Minions) as Shorts within a Movie (Despicable Me) I tried using WinSCP to make the symlink, but Plex isn’t showing the files, even though I named the new symlink file “Home Makeover.mp4” within the Directory “Shorts”. Local Assets are enabled.

Is it possible Plex doesnt see the Symlink file? I actually run the Plex Media server off my Windows 10 PC, Because my Qnap Server is an older model that doesnt handle plex directly well.

PMS has no issues seeing symlinks. I’ve used it before to duplicate movies. I haven’t tried as an extra. Did you try refreshing the movie after you added the file?
