I’m wondering if anyone else is experiencing this?
I’m resyncing all of my music/movies/etc. to my Galaxy S7 and so far am at 10GB synced. My battery has drained from 100% (right off the charger) to 14% in only a couple hours (see the screenshot..current battery life is @ 13% and falling, still syncing). Is this normal that Plex sucks up this much battery life while syncing?
Didn’t notice this issue on my HTC One m8.
Just did another test…2h 40m on battery, currently at 20% (again from a full charge). Plex used 74% of the battery in that time.
Thats normal because of high CPU usage and also big WIFI usage. You’ll get the same result with any other sync software on your mobilephone. But it is only if you transfer big data at once. It’ll be fine once it is completed and in sync.
