Sync broken in iOS app

Hi all!

For a while now I’ve been wondering why playing synced content requires a server? Before the big UI update, when you had synced content on your device, it would play regardless of the server being up and running.
Now, even with the option ‘prefer offline content’ on, I simply refuses to play content that is on my device when the server is off/unavailable.
Yes, you can go to downloads etc but the you come into contact with the ‘no sub’ bugs. But still, the UX is flawed. I see an episode in progress (and which is synced to my device) and I just want to play it.

Could you please fix this again instead of giving us 80’s games and all the other recent extra stuff which I personally don’t need?

I’ve experienced all of this as well.

I’ll also second that I would like Plex to play media well and don’t really need it to play 80s video games.
