I hope you are doing all okay?
I have been using Plex on my Shield Pro for a while now and keep experiencing audio ‘issues’.
Depending on what audio format is being used for the show or movie i watch, i need different audio ‘sync’ settings.
It doesnt matter if its Stereo, Dolby Digital +, DTS-HD or True-HD…its always different and very annoying. The audio can be just a tad in front of the video or vice versa and behind it.
Am i the only one who is having this issue?
What can i do about it?
My setup; Nvidia Shield Pro running Plex (server is my computer with 1GB fiber connection) → Denon x6400h → LG G1 OLED.

Stereo and Dolby Digital + is in sync around 20ms (Nvidia Shield settings)
True-HD needs to be around 50ms (Nvidia Shield settings)
DTS-HD needs to be around 40ms (Nvidia Shield settings)
Youtube needs to be around 10ms/20ms (Nvidia Shield settings)
Ofcourse, its a small thing to do and change these settings before watching something BUT this shouldnt be happening right?
Please let me know what information/screenshots or whatever you need to look into this.
Since there are no replies so far, i have been testing myself some more.
4K HDR files are having the hardest sync issues for me.
I have tried watching multiple files in 4K HDR and switched to a 1080p or 4K SDR version of the same show/movie and the issues is as good as non existent.
I would help me out if someone is going to respond or help me figure out whats causing this.
I have installed Kodi on the side just to see if similar problems are occuring, but no…Kodi doesnt have the sync issues with the same files.
Again, what do you guys need from me to help or locate the issue and maybe fix it?
