I have a FireTablet with 40GB of sync’d movies. Tend to have it offline for long periods and then when traveling somewhere power on and sync playlist for updated content. Issue i have is more than often - this resync simply fails and i have to format everything and re-sync 40GB of movies + the transcoding required on server to complete this job - massive pain!!
Looking at logs i can see the following persisting warning/errors
- Server side: Sync: sync list 36123267, sync item 44789477 has an empty guid: library:///item/%2Flibrary%2Fmetadata%2F180050
- Client side: Presenter not found! Type: unknown, Subtype: unknown
- Client Side: Presenter not found! Type: section, Subtype: unknown
I suspect some metadata change server side has caused these issues.
Really would like to fix this without having to re-sync 40GB every few months when i want to use this device.
Any one have any ideas? - want to avoid manually copying movies etc to an SD card as sync is somthing i pay extra for with Plex - would be a shame to ditch it
