I’ve been at home for the covid happenings so I haven’t been using my android for music. Noticed now when I tap the left I can no longer choose between servers/on my device? The option is no longer there. Now I see that I only have a Downloads & Sync section, I’m sure I must be missing something?
I tried reinstalling same thing, when I go to download and syncs it says directory appears to be empty. When I click sync on something I also notice it will no longer automatically start syncing, it won’t start syncing until I click Downloads and Sync then click Manage on the top right then I have to click the refresh button which is top right as well… which is a step back from the convenience I used to have as it would it sync automatically to my device next time it gets WiFi(as long as plex was running in the background on the device of course). After hitting that refresh button the notification pops up on my bar and shows syncing which is now giving me errors on my playlists. So i tried syncing a single song but even after complete I don’t know how to access the sync’d files? I put my phone in airplane mode and can’t play anything. Frustrating cause it was perfectly fine before.
Did they nuke it with an update or something? I tried Plex Amp and it’s not what I want(the syncing didn’t work anyways same weird behavior happening where it says syncing but nothing really happens, I forgot to note above that I do notice space being taken on my phone so the music is being loaded on there). I can’t speak for everyone else but I just want one app for both music and movies I don’t want multiple apps to access the same damn database anyways.
Am I missing something or?
