Sync'd music disappears

Server Version#:
Player Version#: Android 10, Plex version 8.3.1.19108

This keeps happening.
I have a bunch of music sync’d so I can listen in the car without using cell data. But when I select downloaded & sync’d from the home menu I get a message that says “this directory appears to be empty”. But if I check the info for the app it shows 17.8 gig of data. If I then clear the cache & restart Plex everything comes back. While this is simply when sitting on my couch it’s a giant pain while in traffic.
What’s going on? How can I stop this from happening?
I’ve attached screen shots of the error, the storage screen, & the app working.

Wow this is frustrating.
Am I the only one using off line music or am I the only one with this RECURRING problem.
I’ve already paid for a plexpass subscription but this is forcing me to look for an alternative.

I tried to modify your title but you might want to change it so the devs can find it easier.

This is also happening to me. For me specifically, if I have my Plex server turned off or mobile data is not available for more than a day then suddenly the music is not available. I suspect it has something to do with the Plex app attempting to “Phone Home”.

I am curious if the app developers couldn’t just provide the information and then simply if it needs to “Phone home” then do so on a thread. I think there is plenty of use cases whereby people want to use offline music and that the connection might not work as expected. I’m only guessing that this is the actual problem since when I turn on my server again and test the connection on my LAN it works and the music appears again.

No answer yet, I’m using plex since 2 years now, and this is the second time this regression happen

I have the same issue on Android. I tried to uninstall and it didn’t help.

Same here on andriod, so I thought it was down to my tracks not all syncing properly but who know. Anyone here had or found feedback?

It’s a disgrace to be honest. This just happened to me in the last few weeks and can’t believe there is not fix for it yet. But seems it’s been going on months with different devices/users etc… and no fix. It’s really disheartening.
