Same issue here on NVidia Shield Version 1.18.4.2171.

I tried with latest iOS Plex app on iOS 12.4.1 and on iPadOS 13.3 on the same device and still the same problem.
It’s definitely coming from the NVidia Server.
I’ running the latest Plex server version and Shield OS version.
Willing to help resolve this annoying problem if someone from the staff is listening

Same experience here, also stuck on waiting to download on my iPad. Seems not many people are syncing from Nvidia Shield, and no staff is reading this.
Having the same issue with my server on Nvidia Shield.
Does anyone know how to draw the attention of a Plex staff member to this problem?
It looks like you are experiencing the same error I am. You are receiving a Soci exception shortly after the server tries to synchronize the transcoded media. A staff member has analyzed this issue and has created an internal bug so it should hopefully get fixed soon.

As for a temporary fix, you can roll back the PMS version with an older one to have synchronization work again.

Likewise. Can’t sync on android or iOS mobile devices. Seems to be caused by the recent update to plex
Same issue on my android tab & mobile, ios pad & mobile.
I think Plex server latest version on nvidia shield has problem.

Just updated my Shield server to 1.18.5.2309 and experiencing the problem and all my client devices…
Plex team, please fix this essential feature.
