Is any fix for the “waiting to download” on the horizon? Pretty frustrating to have this “feature” be overlooked for so long. It’s also laughable to email support for this app and get the response of “search the community forums” for something that has been so well documented for years and not been fixed.

I am experiencing this same issue. Trying to sync a large amount of music files, in the original format. The sync will proceed for a short while, then get stuck on “Waiting to Download.” I then force stop the app, re-open, then restart the sync process. Rinse and Repeat. As the process continues, it seems to freeze more often. I’m only able to sync around 500mb of files before the app freezes the sync process.
I have the same issue on an iPad with 35GB of free space.

For what it’s worth, most of my sync issues seem to have been related to a bad, or possibly even counterfeit, microSD card I was using. I’ll update should the problem arise again when storing on phone storage.
Using docker image plexinc/pms-docker instead of linuxserver/plex works for me´.
