Sync your watch state and ratings

Running on Drobo

Just recently I am getting prompted after every movie or episode to turn on Sync. No matter if I click no or yes, it comes up every time. Is there a way to make it go away?

Not sure what player this is. Do you mean you see it in the browser? If from browser, which are you using. Also is the browser being closed an open each time

The player is on a Samsung TV. I haven’t tested on a browser yet but will do that now.

Is it possible to get the smart TV logs after it happens.

I enabled logging and will see if I can pull the logs off but not sure how.

Here is the message -

there are instructions in link above in my previous post. basically you enable logging to server in the app then it will write to your server logs and you grab those

Also want to confirm if this is happening even if you don’t close the app and reopen between playbacks. I have a feeling it does not matter but wanted to check. It is an account level option so it sounds like the app cannot communicate with plex.tv to save to your account

It happens when a show completes and if I back out of the show. It does not do it in the browser.

Also have a Samsung TV this has been an ongoing issue for several months now. Our other TV’s don’t prompt for this only the Samsung.
