Sync'ed "Pinned" content disables Home Screen

I sync my audiobooks to my device so I can listen to them when wifi is unavailable. I pin this content to my sidebar. The last upgrade seems to have broken that functionality.

As soon as I pinned local audiobooks, the Home Screen states “No content to show based on you current pinned sources”. As soon as I unpinned them, the Home Screen works again.

QNAP for plex server, iPad for plex app.

Hey @matter119 I noticed u have same issue I have. My Home Screen still remains empty. Were u ever able to identify a solution? It doesn’t look like anyone else responded to your inquiry.

I too have a QNAP NAS where my Plex server resides & access using my iPhone & iPad.

@matter119 I just unpinned everything and in the upper right corner selected the three dots and selected, “restore defaults.” I had to go through the two step process of selecting server and the pinned sources I wanted and the items r back on the Home Screen. Hopefully this’ll work for u as well.

Thanks @Bymatty, but no dice for me. I am able to get my Home Screen back, but I cannot have “Audiobooks Synced from QNAP” exist in the sidebar and have a non-blank Home Screen at the same time.

Strangely enough, I can select of items like “TV Show” and they will appear. It seems only to effect the aggregate Home view.

I think a better possible solution would be to show Downloaded items in the event the device is offline. Perhaps in a similar fashion as what is currently pinned, but only the downloaded items.
