Is there any way to manualy synchronize subtitles in Plex? The keyboard tricks that I found on other posts (like M to open the audio and subtitles settings or the ALT+S) are not doing anything…
This is a big problem for me and if I have to sync my subtiles with a extern software, I will find another app to caste!
Thanks!
Not that I am aware of!
Although some clients use to have an option
Remember the sub titles you d/l are not necessarily the correct ones for that particular show!
I generally try to d/l 3 versions show.en.srt, show.eng.srt, show.srt and checking they are different sizes so I am getting 3 different versions!
This works “most” of the time
Unlike Kodi or popular media players like MX and VLC, Plex, for whatever reason, does not allow for manual synchronization of subtitles. This is very frustrating as there are various versions of subtitles released. For example SVA, AVS, KILLERS, LOL (HDTV), TBS, WEBRip, WEB-DL (WEB) etc. It would be great if Plex included the feature to adjust timing (+ and -) of subtitles in playback mode but until then you have to find THE correct subtitle version for your video file version whether it be Movies or TV shows.
I find Movies subtitles that can be downloaded are mostly correct.
Tv Shows that had ads taken out are the most inconsistent…
I remux All TV shows from mkv to mp4. If the MKV has subtitles then the software extracts it as a SRT and generally works well.
If only downloadable MKV’s that have subs would tell us in its name!
like blablatvepisode.webDL.x264.subs.mkv
