Hello all, I’ve done this before with my other Synology unit and PLEX years ago, but on my new Synology unit I upload new TV and Movies, it doesn’t show in PLEX, I have to manually scan library for PLEX to update the newly added shows. I recall I had to set that feature where PLEX would update the library from these folders within minutes without having to manually update, is that setting available still?
I have a regular server on a regular PC and I noticed the behavior lately. up til a few days ago I’d add a move, create a new movie collection, add a TV series and when I launched either the server or the player they Would auto-scan and add the new items. Now I have to actually hit scan on the particular library. It’s not a big deal, but I would like the old behavior back. Thanks
OK unchecked run a partial scan and checked scan my library periodically and set it for 2 hours.
That seems to have done the trick. Looks like once again once I add a file to a library it gets picked up instantly again. Not sure what change between the last version and 1.19.5 but corrected now. Thanks
