This request is to develop the capability to sync watched status on content between multiple Plex Servers both on the same subnet, or remote networks/subnets.
This request is specific to Movies and TV Show, where the content could be common media files between all Plex servers, or different files, but same content.

Yes, syncing between Plex servers is a nice idea in general, and there are a few threads concerning that already as well.
I believe this can be done with a slight workaround. Create a trakt.tv account (if you don’t already have one) and use the Plex-Trakt-Scrobbler pluggin to sync your watched status across servers.
Yeah I’ve used trakt to successfully sync between Plex and Kodi back in the days when I was still using Kodi, it was consistent and reliable. Personally I don’t think this is a big enough requirement to warrant it being built-in to PMS; operating as a plugin or channel is plenty.
As mentioned, there is an existing request for this. Rather than spreading the vote across multiple threads, the best thing to do is to add your vote by clicking ‘Like’ on the first message in that thread.
