Just moved from using a large mobile device to a notebook for on the go consumption, and missing the offline functionality that plex offers on those devices. OSX can only use PMP or web client (afaik) so there doesn’t seem to be any way to do anything but manually download the file from the web client, which isn’t really the same as you have no metadata tracking.
As many devices continue to converge, a similar option would be useful.
